How Yoga Changes Your Brain (It’s a Good Thing!)

I already knew this from having done the experiment on myself for the last 8 years. But it’s interesting to see conformation in the real world. Other confirmation from the real world has come from people who I haven’t seen or spoken to in years. When we reconnect, they can’t believe how different I am. I really have to thank yoga for this.

The practice of yoga has dramatically altered my¬†thought patterns and reaction patterns. I shutter to think how I would be without it. Instead of waking up and literally thinking “I’m going to hate this day,” I now wake up thinking “thank you god for this beautiful day.” Not exaggerating, I used to not want to wake up in the morning and dread having to face the world. Now I pop out of bed ready for action!
