This is an educational event and though we’ll have dancing and music, there wont’ be the big lights and big sounds of a music festival.  Come enjoy the night sky, drumming around the camp fire and at night, listen to the sounds of the wild.  This is a kid friendly event, so please no drugs (we love owning our farm :-)

2 Hour WEED WALK given by Jamie Jackson.  We’ll cover basic home herbalism, native common plants, talk about chigger and poison ivy prevention and care, when to harvest and how to use the harvested plants.   Tree reading will be taught as well.

Self-sufficiency: philosophy and practical applications with “Jamie” Ji .  Jamie Ji is a very experienced off-grid “back to the land”er.  She lives in a small cottage she built of clay with the help of her friends.  She tends the land with deep compassion and grows using permaculture methods.  She hosts people from all over the world that wants to live life intentionally simple.  We are very fortunate that she will come share her tremendous knowledge.

Compassionate communication with Vendoni. Non-violent communication is a critical skill in community building.  Being able to speak to each other in a way that conveys information without ego is a very difficult skill to learn and being able to resolve conflict with loving, non-judgemental words an even harder skill to learn.  Come to Vendoni’s class to learn this very practical skill so necessary for those ready to get back to the wild and build a community and family where there once were strangers and just neighbors.

Hooping with Nickalina Ray  – Transitional movements take flight in this workshop, where basic elements of hoopdance are given heighten explanation. Learning how both dancer and hoop create thier own organic movements, that opens the flow channel of hoopdance.

Lucid dreaming with Jamie Jackson.  For thousands of years, across all cultures, people have known about the power of lucid dreaming  – until now.  It can take people years to even get a “diagnosis” of the unhealthy side of lucid dreaming called sleep paralysis.  We’ll talk briefly about this “disease”, how to turn it around and work on practical tips that anyone can use to increase their chance to lucid dream.  Lucid dreaming has been used since ancient times by shamans to change their life and those of their tribe.  This is something everyone should be able to practice.

Ecstatic dance with Jamie Jackson .  Learn basic movements common to tribal and ecstatic dance and learn the lessons the shamans teach of how to change and create your world through dance.   This is a dance that is common to ALL religious faiths and does not conflict with any.
